Remember when we had chain emails and we used to forward them all with surveys? This reminded me of one so I shall do it because I love filling shit out about myself.

Here is a flower “chain” email (do you like that I came up with that pun by myself)

FLOWER ASKS
  • Daisy:How old were you when you had your first kiss?

Haha. 19.

  • Carnation:If I handed you a concert ticket right now, who would you want to be the performer?

EXO. They’ve just come out with their new song and I am gagging all over it they look so good. My baeby is the one at the beginning!!

  • Jasmine:What color looks best on you?

I think cool colours, so black, grey, white, navy and also I used to be obsessed with the colour maroon. Bright colours look good on me, but warm colours like brown, burnt orange and mustard don’t.

  • foxglove:Name three facts about your family?

1. My parents met here (NZ), not in China
2. My mum has 8 siblings.
3. I know more family secrets than my father

  • Allium:What’s the best thing you can cook?
  • Aaaahhh… see previous post….
  • Otherwise, I can’t really cook. I can turn on the oven and put something in it but even then things don’t go well. I would say… egg salad sandwiches lol. I think I do a good eggs on toast as well but I would never cook it for someone else, it is a very temperamental dish which I actually don’t trust me pulling off…
  • Orange Blossom:If you could pick the gender and appearance of your child, would you?
  • Yes.
  • For a boy, I actually have a baby that I wish came out of my own womb and I actually LOVE his name is well. His name is Asher (I think his real name is Asher William Nealy) but his Korean name is Taeoh Kim. He is the cutest baby I’ve ever seen and I literally wish I had the genes to produce this child.
He’s a celebrity baby, so his Dad is really active in the Korean entertainment industry and now they are a part of this reality show about their lives with their children called Oh! My Baby. And Taeoh is the son of an entertainer called Ricky Kim, who is half Korean half American, so he’s got white genes.

Here he is begging for a piece of waffle (Taeoh/Asher is famous for eating a lot haha):

My bayyyybbiiieeee (I actually wish)

Here he is in action:

He’s grown up so much lately though, these videos and gifs are slightly old. But he is still sooo adorable. To get a baby anywhere as close to Asher who I actually think is the cutest baby in the world, I need someone with big eyes, and have some asian blood in him, or have dark hair.

I don’t really have any ideas for a girl hahahaha. She can look however she wants.
  • Calla Lily:If you died right now, what song would you want to play at your funeral?

….. um…..

I don’t know. My family can choose. I don’t really care about my funeral, as long as I get buried. That’s the only requirement I have, and I’m dead. Funerals are for the living to remember and whatever my family wants, they can do. I’d be too dead to care hahahahha

  • Poinsettia:Favourite holiday dish?

????? I don’t have ‘holiday’ dishes like in the States?? It’s not like we have foods that we only eat at a certain time of the year.

But if we’re talking American holidays I really like Thanksgiving food

But my favourite foods in the world are Korean BBQ with pork belly, Peking duck, fried chicken and raw seafood.

  • Oxlip:Would you ever get into a long distance relationship?
I have been in one before but it obviously didn’t last, because of the long distance. I would only get in another one if it was guaranteed we would be reunited again. Unlike white people, Chinese people are generally not freaked out by commitment. If it was a long distance for a couple of months and I was very confident about our relationship, then yes. A year…. there needs to be visits. No time longer than a year unless we were married. It depends on why as well; if it’s for work normally the resettlement package is for a significant other, or only for a few months and a few months is fine. If he was going there to study… if he doesn’t plan on coming back during semester breaks and holidays (i.e. rich enough to afford the airfare but if he was still studying then is he younger than me???) then I wouldn’t be in a LDR. If he was an exchange student, NO FUCKING WAY.

I don’t know, but I trust a Chinese boy better than a white boy with LDRs, just because they don’t have commitment freakouts. I think Chinese people think more about ‘why would I let go of someone who makes me happy and I really like, I can wait and be patient’ while white people are like ‘omg what if I meet someone new, I don’t want to get married now or think about it I can’t promise my life to this person omygaahh I can’t survive if they are not there constantly reassuring me and having the chance to break up naturally and I can’t get laid everyday’. Chinese couples normally survive a LDR. However if there is a white person in the equation it normally doesn’t work out.

sarry white people

  • Primrose:Favorite kind of soup?

Pumpkin (Ava)

Also chicken noodle soup

  • Daffodil:What’s the most thoughtful present you’ve ever received?

I don’t want to say this, but roses delivered to me from someone on the other side of the world.

Also when my best friend gave me a picture frame full of our pictures; that was pretty cute!

  • Rose:Are you currently in love with someone?

No!
  • Amsonia:Would you ever become a vegan?

No. I love meat, and even if I all of a sudden stopped eating meat (there is no reason I wouldn’t though), I would still eat eggs and milk. There is no way in hell I am becoming vegan. It is against my culture (not seriously but seriously at the same time).

  • Peony:What’s your favorite hot beverage?

Coffee! Tea! Hot chocolate! I like ALL the hot beverages!!

  • Tulip:For your birthday, what kind of cake do you ask for?

Hahahahahaha I am renown for having the same cake for my birthday. A trifle!!! Cheapest cake from the cheesecake shop and the fruit and fresh cream and the sponge and jelly layers *ok hand emoji

But I also like cheesecakes, gateaus, and I really want to try a cake called Jamaican wedding cake which isn’t common in NZ

  • Myrtle:Do you like going on airplanes?

Like that I’m going to a different country/travelling, HATE airplanes. I like takeoff and landing. HATE sitting in cramped seat. HATE having stupid toilet. HATE strangers sitting next to me. HATE sleeping on the plane, and the thing I hate the most, airplane food. I HATE the smell of warmed up food and the smell after the meals are given out actually makes me want to puke. I have refused airplane food before because I actually hate it.

  • Hibiscus:Did you ever play an instrument? If so what?
  • I have played the piano to a bad level, violin to an even more terrible level (only for a year), recorder and the flute
  • Zinnia:Who was your best friend when you were six years old?

We’re not in touch anymore and she unfriended me on Facebook. Like a lot of people, I had a falling out in high school with a group of friends, and she was in it.

  • Poppy:What colour was your childhood home?

Dark purple lol

  • Hydrangea:Starbucks order?

Hmmmmm…. I love the holiday seasonal drinks OMG. I LOVE THEM SO MUCH because I really like sweet hot beverages. But if it’s not Christmas, I would order the Caramel macchiato.

Random fact: I went to high school and did capoeira with the son of the CEO in charge of Starbucks, KFC and some other brands. I didn’t know who he was back then though haha. I often see him working at my local Starbucks. We’re still FB friends haha. If you’re reading this, hi!! Do you remember me??

What I looked like doing capoeira: (except I didn’t fall in love and he doesn’t look like that)

  • Violet:Do you like where you’re from?

Yes! I love that I’m Chinese and from New Zealand. Chinese represennnntttttt

  • Locust:What was your favorite book as a child?

This book I have that is about this muffin lady that everyone in the town loves her muffins, and she has these two twins that would eat muffins as they put the muffins in the baskets for people. But one day they ate so much that the two of them got stuck in the doorway and the muffin lady didn’t know how to deliver muffins with the doorway being blocked. She was so flustered that the muffins in the oven caught on fire and the firefighters came and helped get the muffins to the other side. then one basket of muffins fell on the twins (because they were passing them over their heads) and the jam made it slippery and so they became unstuck. And everyone danced and the twins were only allowed half a muffin each from then on hahaha. The last page was one twin being sad because she got the muffin top and the other happy because she got the body of the muffin.

Also The Little Mermaid.
  • Rhododendron:What’s the scariest dream you’ve ever had?

Random fact #2: I have never had a nightmare.

  • Queen Anne’s Lace:Would you rather carve pumpkins or wrap presents?

Random fact #3: I have never wrapped a gift before because there has always been someone around to wrap it for me.

I would carve a pumpkin, sounds more fun and I have never done it before.

  • Magnolia:Favorite kind of candy?

I prefer chips over candy/lollies but I guess chocolate bars like Moro Gold. And twix, love twix.

  • Aster:Would you rather be cold or hot?

I’d rather be hot, I hate being cold.

  • Marigold:Do you listen to what’s on the radio?

Only if I am in the car, so yes? I do listen to the radio

  • Heliconia:Do you like when it rains?

Only when I am at home! Hate it raining when I am not at home because it means I have to walk out into it when I do have to get home! Also rain has ruined a lot of plans before. But rain is a good thing. Not raining is bad. So I don’t know whether I like it or not.

  • Azalea:What’s a movie you cried while watching?

The one I can remember is Titanic. I don’t really watch sad movies, or get attached enough to the characters to cry. I’ve cried at korean dramas though. Last year, there were dramas called “It’s Okay, It’s Love” and “You From Another Star (YFAS from now on because it’s so fucking long)”. Anyone who is in a long distance relationship or has recently broken up from one, you will cry like fuck at YFAS. it’s all about loving/liking someone but being unable to be with them  because of distance, and how unfair it was. The last few episodes are literally a blur to me because I watched them through my tears hahahha. The main lady is kick ass, I love her.

Literally me:

‘It’s Okay It’s Love” is amazing, it’s about mental illness, and the main character is schizophrenic and imagines this kid that he thinks is real that is his friend. It’s really heartbreaking because you get attached to the kid too and he refuses to believe that his friend is imaginary. He doesn’t know/think he’s schizophrenic either and projects his own childhood onto Kangwoo, the name of the imaginary friend, but the girl he’s trying to chase is a psychiatrist.

My poor baby Kangwoo in It’s Okay It’s Love:

I looove the imaginary friend and the OST for It’s Okay It’s Love is flawless. I still listen to it, the songs they chose/composed for it is amazing.

  • Dandelion:Do you think you’re important?

Important enough to blog about, that’s for sure. But yes. There is noone more important to me in my life than myself.
